Tamara Caraway, President

Architect Tamara Caraway has over 34 years of experience in the planning, programming, design, and construction administration of public safety, educational, municipal, religious, multi-family, and commercial architecture.

Tamara Caraway works one-on-one with the client and stakeholders to understand the client’s goals and objectives to develop conceptual design ideas. She coordinates the team’s collaboration throughout all phases of design and construction to ensure that the construction documents address function, operation, user needs, and unique programming requirements.

Jonathan Schmid, Vice President

Jonathan Schmid has worked with Hunt & Caraway Architects for the past 17 years as a team member on a variety of educational, public safety, municipal, and religious projects. He holds a LEED Accredited Professional title and is a Registered Architect. Mr. Schmid’s knowledge of emerging technology enhances his ability to organize and effectively complete projects on time with Owner satisfaction.

As a team member, he will work directly with our clients through the initial programming and planning phases to identify and respond to their needs within the project design. As project manager, Mr. Schmid is responsible for the coordination with consultants in addition to supervising the drafting team and formulation of all construction drawings.

John Moore, Construction Administrator

John endeavors to provide his clients with the highest quality construction administration and executive project leadership as possible. John is an excellent team member and team leader. He strengthens any team by way of knowledge of existing and cutting-edge building systems, energy-savings cost measures, best sustainability design practices and specifications, a high level of coordination, and by being an excellent team leader.

John has design construction administration experience in a variety of project types including: historical structures, educational, commercial, military, governmental, health care, and manufacturing plants.
